Presentation Guideline

IC-KDA & ASAD 2025 provides authors with a chance to present their abstracts to a wider audience through oral and/or poster presentations.
To ensure that instructions are shared effectively with all the presenting authors of the accepted abstracts, we encourage all presenters to review the following:

Oral Presentation

  • Important Notes
    • All oral presenters will be requested to attend the conference and deliver a presentation from the podium. The real-time question and answer session will be carried following each presentation.
  • How to Prepare the Oral Presentation
    • Each presenter will be allocated 10 minutes in total (7 minutes for the presentation, followed by 3 minutes for Q&A).
    • Please ensure that you strictly adhere to the allotted time.
    • All presentations must be conducted in English.
    • It is NOT allowed to use a personal laptop for presentation.
  • Presentation File Format

    Font Use basic fonts such as Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman, etc.

    • If you choose to use any non-standard or special fonts, please ensure that you bring the font files with you and install them on-site. Kindly note that failure to do so may result in font display issues, such as missing characters or incorrect formatting, which could impact the quality of your presentation.
      We will not be responsible for any font-related issues during the presentation, and it is the presenter's responsibility to ensure their slides display correctly.
  • Equipment
    • A monitor, mouse and Keyboard will be provided on the podium for speakers.
      * No smart pointer on the podium
    • For the convenience of speakers, we will provide a slide note function so that you can see the script in the PPT which you prepared.
    • The use of personal laptops and Macs in the session room is not recommended.
      * If you wish to present with your own laptop (IBM or Mac), please visit the Preview Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled session.
      * If you use your own Macintosh with our beam projector, we ask to bring your Mac RGB Connector as we don’t provide any devices for Macintosh.
  • Submit Your Presentation File(s)
    • Please visit the Preview Room at least 1 hour before your scheduled presentation and bring your presentation file(s) on a USB memory stick.
    • Presentation slides should be prepared as an MS PowerPoint file. If you have any other types of presentation files, please inform our Preview
      Room staff in advance.
    • If your file contains audio or video, please inform our staff and check it with the system in advance.
